About reservations

  • Please tell me how to change or cancel my reservation.

    If you made a reservation on our official website, ,follow this link to start procedures. For reservations outside of our official website (agency, internet travel company), contact the company with whom you made your reservation.

  • Please tell me about cancellation fees.

    Cancellation rules are as follows.
    Cancellation on 14 day before of check-in: 20% of accommodation fee
    Cancellation on 7 day before of check-in: 30% of accommodation fee
    Cancellation on day prior to check-in: 50% of accommodation fee
    Cancellation on day of check-in: 100% of accommodation fee
    No arrival: 100% of accommodation fee

About accommodations

    Check-in is from 3:00pm and check-out is by 11:00am.

  • Can I check-in ahead of the check-in time?

    We may be able to accommodate your request for a fee depending on the status of room vacancies so please contact hotel directly. We will work to accommodate your request but please understand that, depending on the status of reservations for that day, we may not be able to comply. Can I stay with children?

  • Where is check-in for the Hillside?

    Check-in and check-out procedures are conducted at Bayside. Guests staying at Hillside are also asked to come to the Bayside front desk.

  • Can I stay with children?

    If sleeping in the same bed as a child (no bedding required), please pay the following amount. If sleeping in the same bed as a child (no bedding required), please pay the following amount. Age 6-11: 5,400 yen (same bed, breakfast included) Age 4-5: 2,160 yen (same bed, breakfast included) Age 0-3: Free (same bed) *The adult rate is applied to children ages 6 and older if meal and bedding are required.

  • Is there a parking lot?

    We have a parking lot where you can park free of charge.Guests staying at Hillside are also asked to come to the Bayside front desk.

  • Can I send luggage in advance?

    We can hold your luggage.
    On the delivery slip, indicate (1) Date of stay and (2) name used for reservation and make sure to retain the copy.
    We do not accept or process cash on delivery or payments on behalf of guests.

  • Can I use a credit card?

    We accept JCB, VISA, Master, AMEX, Diners, and UnionPay.

  • Do you have wheelchairs available?

    We have a limited number of wheelchairs to please contact us in advance.

About guest rooms

  • Please tell me about guest room amenities and fixtures.

    Varies with each guest room so please check via the guest room page.

  • Is there a pool?

    There is an outdoor pool on the 1st floor. We also have guest rooms with private pools.

  • Are there guest rooms with pools?

    Private pools are installed in all Hillside guest rooms as well as Bayside Mirage Floor Garden Pool Suite, Mirage Floor Presidential Suite, Kids Pool Suite.

  • Can I smoke in my room?

    All guest rooms are non-smoking so please refrain from smoking in any guest room. For rooms with a balcony or terrace, smoking is allowed on the balcony or terrace. Please limit smoking to designated smoking areas located throughout the facility.

  • Can I specify a room view or floor?

    We will work to accommodate your request but please understand that, depending on the status of reservations for that day, we may not be able to comply.

  • Are there guest rooms that are wheelchair compatible?

  • Please tell me about your internet environment.

    All rooms offer free WIFI.

  • Can I stay with a pet?

    We do not offer accommodations for pets.

    Inside the hotel are the Shinkiro and the Shigira Turtle Bay. Additionally, there are 20 various restaurants inside Shigira Resort.

  • Can I make a restaurant reservation?

    We accept reservations from our website. We recommend making a reservation in advance for dinner.

  • Where is breakfast served?

    Please choose form the following three locations.

    Breakfast is served in a double-stack box.
    【Shigira Turtle Bay】(Adjourning Hotel Shigira Mirage)
    Breakfast is served in the Western style as a half buffet.
    【Maralunga Japanese-Okinawan creative cuisine】 (Inside Shigira Bayside Suite Allamanda)
    Serves Japanese, Western and Ryukyu Cuisines Buffet Style.
    *Location and menu may vary depending on conditions for that day.

  • Can I smoke in the restaurant?

    The entire facility, including restaurants, is non-smoking.
    Please limit smoking to designated smoking areas located throughout the facility.

  • Can you respond to food allergy requests?

    We offer menus to address food allergies so please provide allergy details in advance.

    We offer “Swiss Perfection”, a treatment that is loved by celebrities worldwide at both our salon and as part of in-room service.

  • Is there hospital near the hotel?

    The Okinawa Prefectural Miyakojima Hospital and the Miyakojima Tokushukai Hospital are located about 20 minutes away by car.

  • Is there an ATM near the hotel?

    There is one in Miyakojima Airport, about 15 minutes by car.
